Science proves that this work makes us healthier, more elegant, that it reduces feelings of isolation and comforts us, that it produces serotonin, a substance found in antidepressants. It produces dopamine which creates a sense of happiness and reduces our anxiety.

This work has been selected by the Ministry of Culture to take part in the 2023 European Heritage Days.

Marseille, France, enamels, delivery 2022

BNP Paribas has commissioned two 3 meter high works from the artist Guillaume Bottazzi in Marseille’s 6th district, which are part of the city’s heritage. They are located just a stone’s throw from the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde basilica, often referred to as “la Bonne mère”, protector of Marseille. On a listed site since 1917, it overlooks the city and the Mediterranean Sea from the top of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde hill.

The fuchsia, buttercup pink, azalea and eglantine tones of these glass works take us sinuously into a deliciously unreal universe. They create a dreamlike, enchanting space that evolves according to our imagination. These creations are an ode to the joy of living. They are made with enamel, a natural material composed of powdered minerals.
