Twenty-two backlit creations
The result of a collaboration with ORY architecture and an interior decorator, the brand-new “Galerie Peretti” residential development, a former Citroën garage rehabilitated into a 56-unit housing complex, is now home to a one-of-a-kind artistic project: twenty-two backlit works by Guillaume Bottazzi.
These luminous works are not simply decorative elements. They plunge the viewer into a dreamlike universe, where art dialogues with neurobiology to positively influence our well-being. Soft curves, light effects, immersive shapes: everything is designed to arouse emotion and soften our perception of spaces.

Durable and weather-resistant, these minerals are reduced to powder and deposited on tempered and laminated glass. Enamel is a powdered natural material composed of various minerals, including silica, feldspar, kaolin, metal oxides, titanium, copper carbonate, cobalt, iron oxide, manganese and tin. The bases are made of lacquered wood, and the LEDs are low-energy consumption.

Guillaume Bottazzi is a leading figure in contemporary environmental art. For over thirty years, he has been exhibiting his work in the four corners of the globe: in Europe, Asia and the United States. He has created over 100 works in public spaces, often commissioned by cultural institutions, cities or ministries.
A pioneer of neuroaesthetics, the artist integrates neuroscience research into his practice. His aim: to create environments that promote our mental, cognitive and emotional development. In 2023, forty of his environmental artworks scattered across France took part in the 40th European Heritage Days. Bouygues Immobilier and Novaxia Investissement commissioned Guillaume Bottazzi, an artist who has been working for over 30 years in Europe, Asia and the United States, and who has created over 100 works of art in public spaces, to create twenty-two permanent backlit works that change your behavior.
The Galerie Peretti building opens its doors three months ahead of schedule, with Guillaume Bottazzi’s final brushstroke. These works animate the space, fill it with wonder and immerse you in a poetics of space that facilitates the appropriation of places, since space does not exist in itself, but is the fruit of a projection, according to the physicist and philosopher Gaston Bachelard.

About the “Galerie Peretti” building
The “Galerie Peretti” building is a former Citroën car garage that has become obsolete, and has been recycled into a residential complex. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Pont de Neuilly station, the 4,600 m² project has resulted in the production of 56 housing units: 39 for first-time buyers, including 9 in dismemberment, and 17 social housing units managed by Seqens. The project is designed to meet the demand for high-quality housing, while at the same time providing a supply of low-cost housing in the commune.
La Galerie Peretti” is a joint project by Bouygues Immobilier, Seqens and Novaxia Développement, designed by ORY architects and demonstrating the partners’ commitment to urban recycling.

4. Short biography
Guillaume Bottazzi has been working in Europe, Asia and the USA for over 30 years. The artist has created over 100 works of art in public spaces. He receives private and public commissions from museums, such as the Miyanomori Art Museum, the Century Art Museum, the Tokyo Museum of Art and History and the Mori Art Museum; from cities and metropolises, such as the Tokyo Metropolis, the City of Tokyo, Bruxelles Capitale and the City of Nice; and from ministries, such as the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. In 2023, forty of his environmental artworks scattered across France took part in the 40th European Heritage Days.
In 2024, he created a 150 m² polyptych in Paris La Défense. Labelled by Paris 2024 for the Cultural Olympiad, it can be seen from the Grande Arche, as an extension of Richard Serra’s sculpture. The work is part of the largest open-air art trail in France. From Alexander Calder to Joan Miró, César, Daniel Buren and Takis, the greatest artists have left their mark on the business district.
Guillaume Bottazzi has created his own Maison de Création, similar to a Maison de Haute Couture. His heritage works are highly successful, and the artist collaborates with many renowned architects.
